Vocational Development – Engineering

Objective

To share high quality learning opportunities in a vocational setting with Hub members and the wider community

To work with Compton Hub (S Peter’s, Aldersley, Wolverhampton College, on the delivery both of the Engineering diploma and Manufacturing diploma at levels 1, 2.

To appoint key staff to ensure delivery of diplomas at Levels 1 and 2 across the partnership hub.

At least 8 Students from each Hub school to be enrolled on the Diploma courses at Level 1 & 2. (32 in total)

To establish a taster day for pupils across the extended partnership (to include Moseley Park, Aldersley and Wednesfield High).

Target diploma group in Year 9 of 15 students to be engaged in specific workshops (Jaguar Cars, for example) over 6 month period.
