FULL TIME HEAD OF DRAMA WITH DANCE

(TLR2b or higher)

 Required for January 2019 or sooner if possible

Due to promotion of the present post holder, the Governors are seeking to appoint a committed and creative Head of Drama with Dance to work in a very successful and committed department.

The post is open to an experienced Drama teacher with some Dance and carries a TLR2b (£4,441) payment. A higher TLR may be available for a suitably qualified candidate.

The school is an 11-18 Church of England Academy, awarded Good Status by Ofsted (September 2017) and also in the Section 48 Diocesan report.

Teaching across Key Stages 3-5, you will have a proven track record of delivering Dance/Drama at all levels and be able to inspire and challenge the Curriculum area and the school to move forward and build on its current successes.  You will share our passion for Dance/Drama and for learning, demonstrating a commitment to the highest standards of teaching and learning.

FULL TIME, TERM TIME ONLY COVER SUPERVISOR

27.5 HOURS P/W , SCALE 4(18-21 pro rata)

The Directors of the Academy are seeing to appoint a Cover Supervisor in this oversubscribed and successful Academy. The positions will involve close contact with, and classroom support for, nominated students with particular educational needs. It is desirable that the successful candidate will be educated to degree level and be able to work as part of a team of committed colleagues under the guidance of the Special Education Needs Co-ordinator.
The school is a popular, over-subscribed and high achieving 11-18 Church of England Academy, awarded Outstanding Status by Ofsted (November 2011) and also in the Section 48 Diocesan report. The school has considerable experience working in partnership with both local and regional schools.
