11 A-Level Maths Taster
A
group of approximately 70 Year 11 students had the opportunity
of "tasting" topics that form some of the first
Modules in the AS level Mathematics - both the Methods Module
(Single Mathematics) and Discrete Module (either Single Mathematics
or Further Mathematics).
For

With
the changes in the National Curriculum, as well as in the
run up to the new examinations in 2003, we felt that it is
important for students to be aware of what is expected of
them at Key Stage 4.
They
will have to complete TWO pieces of coursework, which will
be independently assessed according to the National Criteria
as set out by QCA. The first one will be done in Year 10,
and consists of a Statistical Investigation. Please click

The
second one will be set in Year 11, and consists of an Investigational
