Parents
- Are you unsure when your child has Mathematics Homework?
Well, click on the 'Homework' link below to access the official
Departmental Homework timetable. Whilst we try to keep to
this timetable, there may be the occasional time when it is
set on a different day - but we try to give the students a
little more time in which to do it.
Your child should never have NO homwork - there is always
learning to be done. They can design a revision timetable,
they can repeat exercises - especially where they have made
a higher proportion of mistakes, they can look at the Quicktests
(Key Stage 3,
Key Stage 4
and Key Stage 5),
they can look at some of the Powerpoint
shows, etc.
As a general guidance to Parents and Students with reference
to the marks a
student receives for homework:
| A
mark of 9 - 10 |
indicates that they are working at the highest grade/level
available for that topic |
| A
mark of 7 - 8 |
indicates
that they are working at one grade/level below the highest
avaible for that topic. |
| A
mark of 5 - 6 |
indicates that they are working at two grades/levels below
the highest available. |
