Facetime Music Lesson

Grace Allan Yr 13 has a ‘Facetime” French Horn lesson from Mark David, Head of Brass at the Royal Academy of Music.

Grace is currently working towards her Grade 8 French Horn and receives scholarship lessons from the Wolverhampton Music Service. In preparation for a performance at the music school in February, she received a consultation lesson from Mark David, Head of Brass at the Royal Academy of Music.

A first for the Music Department – the lesson was held using Facetime and iPads. Mark was at the Royal Academy and Grace was in the Music Department.

Mark David will be working with a number of our students on February 24th at the Wolverhampton Music School. The day’s activities will culminate in performances by some of our students and a performance of the Haydn Trumpet Concerto with Orchestra played by Mark David.

Thanks to our Lower Brass Teacher Mr Brailsford for making the arrangements. The concert starts at 7pm at the Wolverhampton Music School
